It is worth starting with an explanation of what polyethylene is. It is a plastic with a minimum density (about 0.96 g/cm³), much lower than other construction materials. Through the polymerization of ethylene, a thermoplastic mass was created, from which the containers were formed. This mass is characterized by high flexibility, as well as very high resistance to: salts, acids and other chemicals. The material satisfies with low moisture absorption, low heat conduction coefficient, as well as good electrical insulating properties. The plastic is lightweight, almost insensitive to impact and shock, and is suitable for direct contact with food.

How can a polyethylene tank be used?

Polyethylene tanks are used in both the chemical and food industries, as well as in the transportation industry.
